The competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, was established to discover and support the commercialization of innovative ICT-based business models. The 4th ICT Business Model Idea Competition

‘Arkstar’ proposes a groundbreaking business model where the community takes ownership of the IP, funding content creation and sharing in the profits. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of the traditional, centralized content industry by creating a decentralized ecosystem where fans and creators grow the IP together.

The project was especially recognized for its potential as a pioneering model in the Web3 content space, presenting a concrete and feasible roadmap that includes considerations for a Security Token Offering (STO) in alignment with future government policies.

“We are thrilled and honored that the vision and growth potential of the new content ecosystem proposed by Arkstar have been publicly recognized through this award,” said Naru, founder of the Arkstar project. “We will use this momentum to create the first successful case of a Web3 content IP that grows hand-in-hand with its community.”
