Busan, South Korea — Nasun announces that SPECTRA, a third-person shooter (TPS) project developed under the Gen Sol universe, has been officially selected for the 2024 Game Content Multi-Boosting Support Program operated by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA).

The Game Content Multi-Boosting Support Program is designed to help promising regional game projects advance toward higher production quality and commercial readiness. The program provides tailored, demand-based support across areas such as content enhancement, quality assurance, localization, and marketing, with selected teams receiving structured assistance through designated partner studios.

SPECTRA will receive KRW 13 million in production support, as part of the program. The team plans to allocate the provided support toward external production of key graphical elements, including a new playable map, user interface design improvements, and character asset development, in coordination with a specialized visual production partner.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5 with a C++-based pipeline, SPECTRA is an ongoing multiplayer project within the Gen Sol IP framework. The support from the Multi-Boosting program will be used to further refine the project’s presentation and gameplay environment as development progresses.

“We see this selection as practical support for strengthening the overall completeness of the project,” said Naru, founder of Nasun and Gen Sol. “The program allows us to focus on targeted improvements while continuing internal development at our own pace.”

Nasun will continue development of SPECTRA alongside other Gen Sol projects and will share additional updates as further milestones are reached.
