Gen Sol’s Web3 Multiplayer Shooter SPECTRA Selected for the Global Busan Web3 Game Audition

    Web3 Game Audition

Busan, South Korea — Gen Sol is pleased to share that its Web3-enabled multiplayer shooter project, SPECTRA, has been selected for the Global Busan Web3 Game Audition, a government-backed support program operated by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA).

The Global Busan Web3 Game Audition supports game projects exploring the integration of blockchain and Web3 technologies. Through a competitive review process, selected teams receive development funding along with consulting, technical guidance, and access to global industry networks to support Web3 game development and platform conversion.

As a selected project, SPECTRA will receive approximately KRW 7 million in development support, as well as participation in an acceleration program that includes Web3 technology consulting, blockchain integration support, token economy and service structure guidance, and global mentoring and demo sessions led by international partners. The program runs from July through December 2025.

SPECTRA is a multiplayer sci-fi third-person shooter built with Unreal Engine 5, featuring PvPvE gameplay, extraction-based modes, and a skill-driven competitive structure. Set within the Gen Sol narrative universe, the project adopts a phased Web3 integration approach that prioritizes seamless gameplay and accessibility. Players can engage without mandatory blockchain onboarding, while optional on-chain ownership and competitive systems are introduced progressively.

Gen Sol plans to use the support from this program to further validate core infrastructure components; including gas abstraction, optional on-chain ownership, and competitive settlement mechanisms, within a live game prototype, while refining sustainable game and economy design ahead of future global testing phases.

“This selection reflects meaningful validation of our technical direction and design philosophy,” said Naru, founder of Gen Sol and Nasun. “The program offers an opportunity to strengthen our Web3 integration strategy while keeping the experience focused on skill-based competition and immersive world-building.”

Gen Sol Selected for the 2024 Global Marketing Support Program and Completes Initial International Outreach

    Global Marketing Program

Busan, South Korea — Nasun announces that Gen Sol was selected for the 2024 Content Company Global Marketing Support Program, operated by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA), and has successfully completed an initial phase of international marketing activities as part of the program.

The Global Marketing Support Program is designed to help Busan-based content projects expand their international visibility through tailored marketing initiatives, including overseas promotion, digital outreach, and global business matching. Gen Sol was selected among a limited number of participating content companies based on its original IP assets and global growth potential.

As part of the program, the Gen Sol team received KRW 10 million in global marketing support, and conducted a soft launch of its official X (formerly Twitter) account, running focused outreach activities over a period of approximately three weeks. During this period, the team tested international-facing communication strategies and engaged in collaborative interactions with global crypto and Web3-focused influencers, exploring early-stage visibility and audience response in overseas markets.

This initial marketing phase was designed as a lightweight validation step rather than a full-scale campaign, allowing the team to observe engagement patterns, refine messaging, and assess cross-border interest ahead of future, more structured global initiatives.

“We approached this program as an opportunity to test how Gen Sol communicates in a global context,” said Naru, founder of Nasun and Gen Sol. “Rather than prioritizing scale, we focused on learning, iteration, and building a clearer understanding of how the project is perceived internationally.”

Nasun plans to build on the insights gained from this program as Gen Sol continues to develop its IP and prepares for subsequent stages of global outreach and content release.
